We Have a High Priest

We have a high priest, Jesus Christ, “who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, 2 a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord set up, not man”. Jesus has secured His position “in heaven”. His position is “at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty”, Jesus is at the ruling throne of the government of heaven.
Jesus also has another role, that of “High Priest” and Jesus is “a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord set up, not man”. Securing this position though was not a destination, it was not an end point for Jesus. Securing this position gave Jesus the authority to act.
